It’s ten years since my children’s book, The Snorgh and the Sailor, was first published. It’s coming out later this year in a handsome, newly designed edition. And I’m delighted to see that the book is now available in Polish translation as Mrukol i Żeglarz.
One thing I love about translations of this particular book is seeing how translators handle translating “Snorgh” into something similarly gloomy and snuffly in their own languages. I don’t know Polish. But “Mrukol” just sounds right to me.
Anyway, the book is now available. So get a copy for the Polish-speaking child in your life!
