Storytelling Workshops With Myanmar Teachers

Over the extended weekend, I have been getting up early to run a three-day workshop with Myanmar-based teachers on storytelling in the classroom. I was working with my Wind&Bones collaborator Dr Hannah Stevens and a group of brilliant Myanmar-based teachers. And together we were exploring different approaches to storytelling and pedagogy.

It was a wonderful three days, and we came away not only with a renewed appreciation of the difficulties that teachers in post-coup Myanmar are facing, but also with a rich and fascinating store of stories.
