At the end of this month, I’ll be Zooming in to the Pari Center, to give a talk as a part of their brilliant series on Love in the Time of Crisis.
In the session, I’ll be talking about love, wisdom, philosophy and strangers. I’ll be exploring the enigmatic philosophy of the French / Lithuanian philosopher Emmanuel Levinas. I’ll be talking about philosophy as the love of wisdom and as the wisdom of love. I’ll be exploring what to do with the strangers who turn up unannounced on our doorstep. And I’ll be telling tales from my book Hello, Stranger: How We Find Connection in a Disconnected World.
The line-up for the talk series is fabulous. You can see the full program here.
