Award Shortlisting for Hello, Stranger

I’m really delighted that HELLO, STRANGER has been shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Awards, in their 2022 General Nonfiction category.

Although I live in Scotland, I was brought up in East Anglia, and the book is rooted in my early experiences of small-town Norfolk. So it’s a lovely shortlist to be on. And I’m alongside some other brilliant titles: The Art of Doris and Anna Zinkeisen by Philip Kelleway, Emma Roodhouse, and Nicola Evans (Unicorn), and Creating Constable by Emma Roodhouse (again!) and Caleb Howgego (Blackmore).

The category winners will be announced in January.
